Sweet Caroline's Birthday

We celebrated my youngest niece Caroline's 3rd birthday with a "Tiny Party" yesterday and had so much fun! Caroline LOVES tiny things...it's hilarious, really. One time we all went to eat Mexican food and at the end of the meal I gave a quarter to Luke, Mary Katherine, & Caroline to get a "prize" out of one of the machines. Luke got a bouncy ball, MK got 2 rings, and Caroline got a tiny plastic skillet with a sticker of eggs & bacon. I immediately thought, "Oh no! She is NOT going to be happy when she sees what she got! Especially when MK got 2 rings!" We opened up the little plastic bubble and she could not have been happier! She squealed with delight and ran to show her mom & dad. Shelby and I have not laughed that hard in a long time and she STILL has that tiny skillet with the tiny eggs and bacon! So, Andy & Kathy had the idea of having a "Tiny Party" for her and she was ecstatic! We had tiny pizzas, tiny sandwiches, tiny corn dogs, tiny crackers & pretzels, tiny pickles, carrots, celery & tomatoes...we even had tiny cupcakes for her cake. It was GREAT!

Here she is with her big sister Mary Katherine about to blow out her three candles!
Singing "Happy Birthday" to her...she was a little shy but had a huge smile on her face the entire time!
I love Caroline & she loves her BB!
She especially loves her Uncle Shelby!
I babysat her the other day for a bit and while Georgia was eating a snack, Caroline wanted to pull a chair up and eat a snack with her. She was so sweet to Georgia...talking to her in her little high-pictched voice and picking up her snacks when she dropped them.
We all had a great time at the party, except Georgia. She was so quiet and still...not feeling well! She has become SO active, crawling everywhere and LOVING doing it, but not at the party. She played with a few toys and ate a bit at first, but by the time the party was winding down she was sitting in Paw Paw's lap and fell asleep.
She's had some fever & both ears are infected, but the medicine is working & she is improving! I stayed home from church with her this morning because she was still not quite herself! Poor baby...we hate it when she's sick!

I can't believe our baby girl will be 11 months old tomorrow and that the next birthday party for our family to attend will be Georgia's 1st! WOW!
