- I am a simple girl who loves my family. I am a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and stay-at-home mom. Most importantly, I am a follower of Christ. My oldest daughter, Georgia Claire was born June 17, 2009 and her adoption was final on January 6, 2010. Just four days before that, my husband Shelby & I found out that I was pregnant! After years of fertility treatments we thought that adoption was the way God intended for us to grow our family. In fact, we had already begun talking about our next adoption. But He had other plans...perfect plans that have brought us to tears. Ivy Jane was born on August 5, 2010 and has added so much joy to our family! We give all the glory to our gracious and loving father, the Lord Jesus Christ!
